From Labor Day until October 15th the center is open weekends only:

The Chatham Shark Center™ offers an in-depth look at one of the ocean's most magnificent and misunderstood species: the Great White Shark! Through interactive exhibits, videos, displays, and virtual reality experiences, the center offers many ways to learn about groundbreaking research and one of Cape Cod's most captivating summer residents.
