Shark Center Manager

The Shark Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Chatham center, recruiting and training volunteers, seasonal staff, and interns; furthering the development of facility use and community connections; and managing all aspects of exhibit development and upkeep. This position is public facing and involves a great deal of customer service.

RESEARCH SCIENTIST

The Research Scientist will work with AWSC’s Research Team to develop and implement studies relevant to the conservation and management of white sharks and foster relationships with key stakeholders to work towards coexistence.

A Ph.D. in biology, ecology, marine science, or a related field is required.

MUSEUM DOCENT (Seasonal, Part-time)

The Museum Docent will engage Shark Center Provincetown visitors throughout the museum and assist in daily operations such as sales of merchandise and tickets.

The Community Educator will work closely with the Community Engagement Manager to execute AWSC education programs throughout the year.
